Georgia’s Tech Olympiads Hub is launching a national series of informatics championships to identify and prepare talented school students for international competitions. The initiative is led by Business and Technology University (BTU), with TBC Bank serving as the general supporter.
The program will cover the full cycle of competitive development, including nationwide student selection, training programs, championship rounds and the preparation of winners for participation in international informatics olympiads.
As part of this effort, the hub has opened preparations for the first nationwide Informatics Olympiad (OLYINFO). Registration for the competition will be open from January 15 to January 29, 2026. The olympiad is open to students aged 9 to 18, divided into relevant age categories.
An introductory information session dedicated to OLYINFO will take place in Tbilisi on January 16 at 17:00, hosted at BTU. Students, parents and educators interested in attending are required to register in advance via an online form. Additional information sessions in Georgia’s regions will be announced at a later stage.
