The Georgian national basketball team began its EuroBasket 2025 with a great victory, defeating defending European champion Spain 83–69.
The Group C clash was held in Limassol, Cyprus where Georgia showcased confident play and secured one of the tournament’s most notable early results.
Looking ahead, Georgia is set to face Italy in its second group-stage match on August 30. The game will take place at 4:00 PM Tbilisi time.
