GD Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has announced that Gela Geladze will succeed Vakhtang Gomelauri as new Minister of Internal Affairs.
Geladze previously served as Deputy Head of the State Security Service of Georgia (SSSG) and will now take over leadership of the Interior Ministry.
The appointment follows the resignation of Vakhtang Gomelauri, who officially stepped down from the post earlier today.
