GAA offers subsidized charter flight for Georgian fans to EuroBasket 2025

To celebrate Georgia’s historic achievement at EuroBasket 2025—advancing to the quarterfinals—the Georgian Airports Association (GAA), in cooperation with the government, has arranged an additional subsidised flight for fans of the national basketball team.

The flight will depart from Tbilisi International Airport for Riga on September 10 at 07:00, with the return to Georgia scheduled for September 11.

Thanks to the GAA subsidy, the one-way ticket price is set at €195. Sales open today at 20:00 via TKTFLY.GE/eurobasket.

The special flight coincides with Georgia’s quarterfinal clash against Finland, which tips off on September 10 at 18:00 Georgian time.

GAA says only passengers holding a valid EuroBasket 2025 match ticket—presented at Tbilisi International Airport before departure—will be eligible to travel on this service.
