From September 30, 2024, Georgian citizens will be able to travel to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China without a visa.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs disseminates information about this.
They say that based on the decision of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Georgian citizens are allowed to travel to Hong Kong without a visa and spend 30 consecutive days in the country.
“Achieving an agreement on visa-free travel between the parties of Georgia and Hong Kong was possible as a result of active work.
For information, the visa-free travel in the People’s Republic of China has been in effect for Georgian citizens since May 28, 2024.
It should be noted that due to the status of a special administrative region, Hong Kong has an independent immigration and visa policy,” the information says.
