In the draft budget for 2022, the old-age pension is to increase from January.
The pension of persons under 70 will increase by 20 GEL to 260 GEL, and for pensioners over 70, it will increase by 25 GEL to 300 GEL.
For the pensioners living in high mountain settlements, the amount of the pension will be 312 GEL for persons under 70 years of age, and 360 GEL for persons aged 70 and above.
In total, 2885 billion GEL was written in the budget for pension provision.
