Former Defense Minister of Georgia, Juansher Burchuladze, has been detained, the State Security Service announced.
“As a result of operational-search and investigative activities, on the grounds of abuse of official authority by a state political official and money laundering, which involved obtaining particularly large amounts of income, former Minister of Defense of Georgia Juansher Burchuladze has been arrested by court order,” the State Security Service stated.
