Emergency Management Service stated that a major fire that broke out earlier today at a warehouse on Feiqrebi Street in Tbilisi has been fully extinguished.
The blaze engulfed a 3,000-square-meter storage facility containing construction materials. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. Emergency crews responded within seven minutes of the first call. In total, 20 fire engines and special equipment were mobilized to help the situation.
Temur Mghebrishvili, head of the Emergency Management Service, who was present at the scene, confirmed that the fire has been liquidated and emphasized the swift response of the rescue teams.
Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
