As reported by her press service, former President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili is currently attending the GLOBSEC international security forum in Prague.
As part of the forum’s agenda, Zurabishvili held meetings with Czech President Petr Pavel and French Minister for Europe Benjamin Haddad, during which she discussed the latest political developments in Georgia.
Per the press service, Zurabishvili highlighted concerns about the situation in the country, emphasizing what she described as widespread repression by the Georgian Dream government. She drew attention to the imprisonment of political opponents, the imposition of heavy fines, and the broader pressure faced by individuals who oppose or criticize the government’s domestic and foreign policies.
