The Council of Economic and Financial Affairs of the European Union, which met today in Luxembourg, approved the framework for negotiations with Ukraine and Moldova, “Deutsche Welle” reports based on a diplomatic source.
According to the publication, this means that the parties can officially start preparations for the intergovernmental conferences scheduled for June 25, which will be the official start of negotiations on the accession of these candidate countries to the European Union.
In addition, Belgium, which chairs the Council of the European Union, published details of the intergovernmental conferences on the social network, according to which the conference with Ukraine is scheduled for 15:30 local time on June 25, within the framework of the European Union Council meeting in Luxembourg, and with Moldova – at 18:00.
