Elon Musk, founder of SpaceX and the CEO of Tesla, recently proposed a ‘peace’ plan to settle the war in Ukraine.
Internet problems that have plagued Ukraine since the start of the war have been bypassed by Ukrainians and the military thanks to Elon Musk’s Starlink satellite communication technology. His space company has been supplying Ukraine with Starlink satellite kits as a show of solidarity. Musk, meanwhile, has recently tweeted statements that contradict Western and US official positions on Russia’s brutal invasion of Ukraine.
Musk recommended UN-supervised elections in four occupied territories that Moscow had erroneously seized following so-called referendums in a tweet. The ballots were criticized as being unlawful and coercive by the governments of Kyiv and the West. Musk stated, “Russia leaves if that is the will of the people.”
The CEO of Tesla also advocated for the legal recognition of Russia’s sovereignty over Crimea, which Moscow annexed in 2014, the assurance of Crimea’s water supply, and the neutrality of Ukraine. He requested a yes/no vote from Twitter followers on his proposal.
Ukraine-Russia Peace:
– Redo elections of annexed regions under UN supervision. Russia leaves if that is will of the people.
– Crimea formally part of Russia, as it has been since 1783 (until Khrushchev’s mistake).
– Water supply to Crimea assured.
– Ukraine remains neutral.

Musk stated in a tweet that this is quite likely to be the conclusion of the battle; the only unknown is how many people will die before that time. He also noted of the potential for nuclear war.
Also worth noting that a possible, albeit unlikely, outcome from this conflict is nuclear war

Musk then asked for another yes/no poll to determine whether his supporters agreed that the residents of the Donbas and Crimea should decide whether they are part of Russia or Ukraine.
Let’s try this then: the will of the people who live in the Donbas & Crimea should decide whether they’re part of Russia or Ukraine

Then Tesla’s CEO tweeted that Russia was partially mobilizing. In the event that Crimea is in danger, they will mobilize for war fully. Devastating deaths on both sides will result. He said Ukraine’s chances of winning a total war are slim because Russia has three times the population of Ukraine.
Russia is doing partial mobilization. They go to full war mobilization if Crimea is at risk. Death on both sides will be devastating.
Russia has >3 times population of Ukraine, so victory for Ukraine is unlikely in total war. If you care about the people of Ukraine, seek peace.
