Earthquake hits Armenia, 45 kilometers from Georgia

An earthquake occurred in Georgia.

The Institute of Earth Sciences and the National Seismic Monitoring Center says the epicenter of the earthquake was in Armenia, 45 kilometers from the Georgian state border.

They also reported that the magnitude of the earthquake was 5.1.

The earthquake was also felt by the population of Georgia. The tremor was felt in Georgia at 9:26am.
