Dollar Price in Commercial Banks Exceeds 3.50

Dollar Price in Commercial Banks Exceeds 3.50

Based on the National Bank data, the official GEL exchange rate against the dollar as of March 31 is 3.4118, although in commercial banks, the price of 1 US dollar reaches 3 GEL and 50 tetri.

The value of GEL is also falling in the Bloomberg trading system. In particular, as of 12:00 on March 31, the value of 1 USD is 3.45 GEL.

Customers can buy 1 USD at TBC Bank for 3.52 GEL. In the Bank of Georgia, 1 US dollar costs 3.5110 GEL.

VTB Bank offers customers 1 USD for 3.5150 GEL. In Basisbank, it is possible to buy 1 USD for 3.505 GEL.

The Euro, its official exchange rate on March 31 is 4.0044. In commercial banks, its value reached 4.1 GEL.

Customers can buy 1 Euro at TBC Bank and Bank of Georgia for 4.1430 GEL. In Basisbank, 1 Euro costs 4.183 GEL. At VTB Bank, customers can buy 1 Euro for 4.15 GEL.

The new official exchange rate will be announced by the National Bank on April 1 at 17:00.
