Lali Turdzeladze, Clinical Director of the First University Clinic, says former Adjara government chairman Tornike Rizhvadze remains in a stably critical condition and is still on mechanical ventilation.
Speaking to Interpressnews, Turdzeladze said: “His condition is stable and has not worsened. A medical round is currently underway, followed by examinations, after which Dr. Levan Ratiani will provide an update. Yes, his condition is stably critical, and he remains on mechanical ventilation.”
The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported yesterday morning that Tornike Rizhvadze was hospitalized at Geohospitals in Sagarejo with a gunshot wound to the chest. He received emergency medical assistance before being transferred to the First University Clinic in Tbilisi.
