“20% of our country is occupied and, based on this reality, we are doing the best we can in terms of helping Ukraine,“ Minister of Defense Juansher Burchuladze told journalists.
He also noted that the Government is doing everything to prevent the risks of a new conflict increasing in the country.
“Everyone, including our partners, including our population, should understand well that Georgia is in a special situation. 20% of our country is occupied, and, based on this reality, we are doing the best we can to help Ukraine and at the same time, of course, not to increase the risks of a new conflict in our country,” he said.
