The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Ilia Darchiashvili, held a working meeting with the Ambassador of the United States of America to Georgia, Kelly Degnan.
The topic of discussion at the meeting was a wide range of strategic partnerships between the USA and Georgia. Once again, the strong support of Georgia from the side of the USA and readiness for further deepening of strategic partnership in all main directions, including defense and security, as well as trade, economy, and investment, were noted.
The parties also reviewed the security environment in the region; Once again, the USA’s support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia was confirmed.
The parties expressed their readiness to actively cooperate on all the main issues of the current and strategic partnership.
