Christian Danielsson says his mission is to help political parties, enable them to start a dialogue, and make progress. Christian Danielsson, Personal Representative of the President of the European Council, arrived in Georgia on March 12.
Danielson states that what is happening in Georgia is very important for the European Union. The EU is concerned about the current economic and political situation in the country.
“We believe that now is the time for the political parties, for the interested parties, to make every effort to find a way out of the current impasse in the form of a compromise. I would like to emphasize that my role, as well as that of Mr. Hartzell and Ambassador Degnan, is to support this process, to help it. It is the job of the parties, their representatives, to find a solution for themselves, of course, with our help, to deal with the situation, to get out of this situation and in the face of important issues like Covid, such as the economic situation, and to find a solution. This is a vision towards to unite,” Danielsson said.
