Amiran Gamkrelidze, the director of National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) announced today that people who take a full course of vaccination may receive certain benefits, including the right to move after the curfew.

“The Center for Disease Control intends to take the initiative to join the Coordinating Council to provide benefits to these people under restrictions. We are working on several points that are internationally practiced, including free movement during the curfew, providing a document to travel abroad, and other initiatives,” Gamkrelidze stated.

The NCDC director added that they cannot voice in advance what types of benefits are being discussed, but their aim is that vaccinated people have more rights than the rest of the population, which should encourage others and increase the interest among the population for quick vaccination.
