Georgia reported 1562 coronavirus cases, 1490 recoveries, and 30 deaths on Tuesday, the official figures show.
29,685 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country, including 21,443 rapid tests 8242 PCRs. The testing revealed that Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 893 Covid-19 cases, followed by the Imereti region with 136 cases and the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region with 123 cases.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at .26%, while it was 4.85 % in the past 14 days.
The total number of confirmed cases stands at 332,441, among them, 312,349 people recovered and 4499 died. Presently, there are 15,593 active cases of infection in the country.
93,305 people got the coronavirus vaccine so far.
