A new tax has been introduced in Georgia – from February 1, 2024, full containers imported into the country will be taxed at 30 GEL. The corresponding change “On local fees” was introduced into the law of Georgia.
As of today, the container fee has been introduced only in Poti municipality and its amount is 30 GEL for 1 container.
Payment of the container tax should be paid to the treasury code: 300423195.
