The Mayor of Tbilisi, Kakha Kaladze, announced that the construction of the tunnel and bridge connecting University and Kavtaradze streets is being planned, which should be completed in January 2025. The total cost of this project is about 12 million GEL.
“After the completion of the road bridge connecting University Street and Bagebi, we are starting the construction of the tunnel and bridge connecting University and Kavtaradze streets. It is a project of strategic importance. A car coming from Tskneti, Bagebi, using the new bridge, will have the opportunity to go directly to Kavtaradze Street after the completion of this project,” said Kaladze.
