The deadline of the competition for the journalists and bloggers has been extended! The final date for submitting work is 10 September, 24:00.
CENN and the Ministry of Environmetnal Protection and Agriculture, with the support of the ministry of foreign affairs of Norway, are announcing a competition for journalists and bloggers/vloggers.
Competition partners are Toyota Caucasus and Gulf Georgia.
Within the scope of the competition, the following will be accepted:
– Published articles
– Published blogs
– Published videos
– Published photo stories
– Published vlogs
It is a requirement that the work submitted has been published after the announcement of the competition.
The competition topic is plastic pollution and challenges related to plastic overall.
1st place winner – 1,500 GEL worth of Zoomer vouchers
2nd place winner – 1,200 GEL worth of Zoomer vouchers
3rd place winner – 900 GEL worth of Zoomer vouchers
A special prize will be awarded by the partner companies to their chosen candidates:
Toyota Caucasus – for most creative work that shows strategic and long-term vision. – 2,000 GEL
Gulf Georgia – for the most creative work that shows personal experience and activities that supports the reduction of plastic pollution. – 2000 GEL
The content is not limited and could entail the following components:
Personal experience – for example on how to reduce plastic consumption
Polluting the environment with plastic and why this is a problem
Circular economy and sustainable management of plastic waste (prevention, reuse and recycling)
The role of the business in reducing plastic waste and/or the role of the recucling companies in reducing plastic and developing economy
Problems associated with microplastics and associated risks on human health
The aim of the competition is to help raise awarenss of the publich on:
– The negative impact of plastic and plastic pollution
– The ways in which we can reduce the excessive use of plastic
– The ways in which we can reduce plastic pollution
Deadline of the competition is 10 September, 24:00, 2021.
