In honor of the memory of the late TV Pirveli cameraman, Lekso Lashkarava, cameramen of various media outlets organized a “camera corridor” near his house.
During the funeral, Lekso Lashkarava’s body was led through the corridor.
Colleagues, relatives and other people who came to the funeral said goodbye to the deceased cameraman with applause.
The employees of TV Pirveli also brought to the house of the deceased fragments of the camera he worked with on July 5 and which was destroyed as a result of physical violence by aggressive opponents of Tbilisi Pride.
Representatives of organized violent groups attacked Lekso when he was performing his professional duties. He suffered multiple injuries, had his facial bones broken, and underwent surgery.
Lekso Lashkarava will be interred next to his father.
