China Southern Airlines, one of China’s largest air companies, will resume regular flights to Georgia. Georgia’s Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Mariam Kvrivishvili, announced.
Before the epidemic, Georgia had 48,071 visitors from China in 2019.
Urumqi-Tbilisi-Urumqi regular flights will start in January 2023. It will be conducted once a week, on Fridays, until the end of the winter season, on March 25, 2023.
Due to the Covid-19 epidemic, China Southern Airlines suspended flights to Georgia in January 2020.
