CENN Hosts First Social and Green Enterprise Expo in Tbilisi on June 19

On June 19, from 11 am to 18:00 pm, CENN holds an open-air exhibition of social and green enterprises in Tbilisi, Expo Georgia, in front of the 3rd Pavilion.

The exhibition will be attended by enterprises operating throughout Georgia, which work in social and environmental directions and are of particular value in promoting youth development, sustainable tourism development, and green economy.

Visitors to the exhibition will have the opportunity to get acquainted with 61 different enterprises on the spot and to taste and buy ecologically clean, interesting products of local production. In addition, on-site masterclasses will be offered on waste reuse, painting, yoga, and more.

In the exhibition, the visitor will meet processing companies, second-hand clothing stores, toys made of ecologically clean materials, manufacturers of different accessories, tourism enterprises, etc. In addition, the visitor will for the first time meet the Georgian Forest Product Association, presented by its 17 member companies, which mostly produce the Non-Timber Forest Products as jams, tea, juices and other.

Social and Green Enterprise expo is a part of the regional conference Green Economy and Inclusive Growth in the South Caucasus, which is being held within CENN’s ongoing projects: EU4Youth: Social Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Development (SEED) for Green Growth in Borderline Communities, funded by the European Union, Sustainable Forest Management for Climate Resilient Rural Development, supported by the Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC), Digital Caucasus, implemented via a grant awarded by the USAID Bureau for Europe and Eurasia, Economic Development, Governance and Enterprise Growth project.
