The official deadline for the Central Election Commission (CEC) to finalize the parliamentary election results is November 21, twenty-six days after the actual polling. The process involves particular protocols from district commissions as well as any court rulings. Once these steps are taken, the CEC will publish the results online and submit the official documents to the Legislative Herald.
Parliamentary seats will be granted to political parties that receive at least 5% of the total votes. The number of mandates the party receive is determined by multiplying its total votes by 150 and dividing by the sum of all valid votes from all participating parties.
If the overall number of seats allocated is less than 150, the remaining mandates will be given to parties with the next highest results.
The CEC is to register elected MPs and grant them temporary certificates within two days of solidifying the results.
