Carl Bildt: EU path of Georgia has for the time being come to an end

With the ruling party using its majority in parliament to override the presidential veto of the “Russian law” the EU path of Georgia has for the time being come to an end, – said the Co-Chair of the European Council on Foreign Relations, Carl Bildt.

The Parliament overrode the President’s veto on the law “On transparency of foreign influence”. The draft law presented by the Georgian Dream faction and vetoed by Salome Zurabishvili was supported by 84 votes.
