Tbilisi’s main Christmas tree will be illuminated on December 12 at 8 p.m. in First Republic Square, Mayor Kakha Kaladze announced during today’s City Hall meeting.
Kaladze invited residents to take part in the celebration, noting that preparations are in full swing.
“Work is actively underway in First Republic Square, where the central Christmas tree and the ‘Christmas Village’ will be set up. Our goal is to create a magical New Year’s atmosphere and a festive mood for every visitor — adults and children alike. We warmly invite everyone to gather on December 12 at 8 p.m. to light the city’s main Christmas tree together,” the mayor said.
