Building of Public Broadcaster Sold for 65,100,000 GEL

The first channel reports that the building and land space of the public broadcaster located at 68 Kostava Street in Tbilisi was sold for 65,100,000 GEL.

The property belonging to the broadcaster, with a price tag of 65,000,000 GEL, was available for auction from September 1.

The Public Broadcaster notes that the offer was made through the electronic auction of the National Agency of State Property, and the information was placed on the electronic address.

“33,209 square meters of land and 23,649 square meters of buildings were available for auction. Interested parties had the opportunity to participate in the auction until 12:00 on September 30.

“A new building for the Public Broadcaster is being constructed at #31 Ana Politkovskaia Street in Tbilisi. Construction began in December 2020 and will be completed in December 2023,” the report reads.
