According to the so-called “president” of occupied Abkhazia, Aslan Bzhania, the so-called “republic” is ready to receive the cruise liner Astoria Grande and warmly welcome Russian tourists.
“The republic is interested in the expansion of tourist services, and taking into account the geographical possibilities, serving the cruise liner in the summer is considered the most promising,” Bzhania told Russian news agency TASS.
The news agency reports that Bzhania said the above while commenting on the “unfriendly rally” held against Russian tourists in Batumi port.
“The seaport of Sokhumi is technically ready to receive ships of the Astoria Grande type. We are happy to invite you to Abkhazia and promise to warmly welcome Russian tourists in the spirit of Abkhazian hospitality. We have received the liner Knyaz Vladimir with respect and we will find a place for the Astoria Grande as well”, Bzhania noted.
