Based on the decision of the Interagency Coordination Council, all restrictions related to coronavirus, except for wearing a mask in transport and indoor spaces, are to be lifted.
Among them, restrictions limiting the number of people in food facilities, as well as sports, arts or other events will be lifted. The obligation of self-isolation for persons who return to the country without a PCR test will also no longer apply.
Giorgi Gibradze, Head of the Task Force under the Interagency Coordination Council, introduced the decisions of the Council at the briefing held at the governmental administration.
“The vaccination promoting program will be maintained.
“Virtually all the regulations, except for the obligation to wear a mask in closed space and public transport, are being abolished,” Gibradze said.
