Rain is forecast for the coastal regions on January 21 and 23, with air temperatures reaching +8°C to +10°C. Western parts of the country will also see precipitation, while snowfall is expected in the mountainous zones of western Georgia, including highland and resort areas.
In eastern Georgia, particularly in Shida Kartli and Kakheti, cold but mostly dry weather is forecast. In mountainous regions, nighttime temperatures may fall as low as −8°C to −13°C, with daytime temperatures ranging from −1°C to −6°C.
The NEA advises residents to take precautions as low temperatures and frost continue across much of the country.
