The UN Global Compact Network Georgia held its annual Corporate Sustainability Award 2025, Business for Sustainable Development on 26 November, highlighting private-sector efforts to advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
This year’s awards included the Zero Hunger category, where FAO Senior Policy Advisor Jumber Maruashvili served as one of the jury members, assessing companies’ initiatives aimed at supporting food security and sustainable agriculture.
The winner of the category was Herbia, recognized for its contribution to the goals of reducing hunger and strengthening sustainable food systems. Organizers also commended all applicants for their commitment and the positive impact of their work.
