Having failed to take over the yard of the President’s Administration, the protesters have been pushed back by riot police and are now on the edges of Orbeliani Square.
Protesters, wearing gas masks, have built barriers out of bins, benches, tables and chairs and have set fire to them.
The protesters on Freedom Square and Rustaveli Avenue are standing peacefully. Various speakers are encouraging the crowd to stand strong against the ruling regime.
