The seventh meeting of the European Political Community (EPC) opened in Copenhagen on October 2, with Georgia among the participating countries, reported the European Council.
The summit will bring together leaders from across the continent, including the heads of state and government of all 27 EU member states, as well as representatives from Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Faroe Islands, Georgia, Greenland, Iceland, Kosovo, Liechtenstein, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Norway, San Marino, Serbia, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom.
The European Union will be represented by European Council President António Costa, who will co-chair the gathering with Denmark’s Prime Minister, Mette Frederiksen.
Discussions are expected to focus on strengthening support for Ukraine, addressing Europe’s broader security challenges, and reinforcing the continent’s resilience in the face of ongoing geopolitical tensions.
