Kutaisi International Short Film Festival is being held with the support of Kutaisi City Hall and the Georgian National Film Center.
The festival opened on May 8 and will end on May 12. Georgian and foreign films are being screened within the framework of the festival, and the winner will be announced on May 12. The festival also includes an educational program, within the framework of the which, masterclasses are being held, and “Scenario Development Workshop” is planned, with film professionals sharing their experience with participants in the specifics of working on a short film script.
The author, director, and cameraman of the first Georgian documentary was Vasil Amashukeli from Kutaisi, many legends of Georgian cinema were born in Kutaisi and many Georgian films were shot in the city.
Film screenings are being held at the cinema “Sakartvelo” (Georgia), and attendance is free.
