In Brussels, near the European Parliament building, Georgian immigrants set up tents and went on a hunger strike, announced Winds movement.
In a video posted, one of the immigrants says that “we must hold accountable those who stole something from us.”
“This is a historic day. We Georgians are setting up tents in front of the European Parliament and going on a hunger strike, with a specific demand: not to recognize the results of the rigged elections, for the West to wake up and sanction those who rigged the elections,” he says.
As reported by the same movement, immigrants living in different cities around the world also joined the protest rallies organized by Winds, namely: in Munich, London, Paris, Zurich, Washington, Rome, etc.
On November 25, the Parliament of Georgia convened. Only the Georgian Dream deputies attended the session, and they recognized the authority of the Parliament, despite the fact that a lawsuit has been filed with the Constitutional Court regarding the election results, which, according to constitutionalists, means that the Parliament did not have the right to convene until the lawsuit was considered.
