The “Georgian Dream” faction announced they are ready to sign the new agreement presented by Charles Michel.
‘We have expressed our readiness in principle to sign an updated document submitted under the auspices of the President of the European Union and the Council of Europe.
Although the principle of 40% confidence in elections in the presence of our international partners was agreed upon in the March 8 agreement, and is reflected in the constitution, legislation, and other percentages, it has no logical or legal basis, today. In a public statement made by the party, we said and discussed raising the 40% threshold of confidence in the self-government elections to 43%. Georgian Dream is ready to sign an agreement with this figure,’ the statement reads.
