Harris X representative John Briley talked to Mtavari Arkhi about the election results, claiming that based on their research, Georgian Dream has been unable to form a parliamentary majority, while opposition parties together will be able to form a government.
Based on Harris X exit poll results at the request of Mtavari Arkhi, by 20:00, 5 electoral subjects had crossed the 5% threshold:
Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia 42%
Coalition for Change – 18%
United National Movement – 13%
Strong Georgia – 9%
Gakharia for Georgia – 8%.
“Harris X believes that the Georgian population gave the opposition a mandate for change,” Harris X representative stated, adding that another interesting trend that has been detected through this exit poll is that Georgia’s youth, especially women, participated in the election in particularly large numbers. This was a very clear trend observed in these elections, he added.
