On October 3rd, the Georgian Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development held a meeting with a Saudi business delegation in the framework of the Georgia-Saudi Business Forum. Davitashvili commented on the meeting and highlighted that the Saudi minister was particularly impressed by Georgia’s ‘economic progress, stability, and predictability,’ stimulating discussions on possible investments.
The forum gathered 70 Saudi business representatives from a variety of industries, including energy, tourism, medicine, and IT. The highlight of the event was Gulf Pharma, Polymer Solution, and Medical Bridge signing the agreement, forecasting to bring over €50 million worth of investment to Georgia.
