China Central Television (CCTV) is to prepare documentary films to raise awareness about Georgia in China. CCTV’s program will be about Georgian sea and spa resorts, culture, nature, Georgian wine and food.
“We have hosted one of China’s most famous media outlets, CCTV, which broadcasts in both Chinese and English. CCTV representatives have become familiar with tourist products, Georgian culture and wine,” said the Head of the Georgian National Tourism Administration, Maia Omiadze.
“Later, they will prepare five documentary episodes about Georgia, which will be broadcast throughout the year on CCTV, social networks, and online platforms.
“We believe that this project will increase the awareness about Georgia in China, which will bring more Chinese travelers to Georgia.”
