Yes to Europe! No to the Russian law – with this slogan, a rally-march is being held in Tbilisi, from the First Republic Square to the Parliament building.
The participants in the rally are protesting the re-introduction of the Russian law, which Georgian Dream refused to introduce in March 2023 after mass protests.
Representatives of the civil society are moving towards the Parliament with the slogan: “Yes to Europe! No to Russian law!”, “We choose Europe”, “Georgia will never be Russia!”, “Let’s defend the victory of April 9 together!”.
Leaders of the opposition party, representatives of non-governmental organizations, and representatives of the cultural sphere joined the “Freedom March”.
The people who came to the march carry the flags of Georgia and the European Union, and, as a sign of April 9, the participants were given daisies and tulips.
