The Minister of Health of Georgia Ekaterine Tikaradze states that the initial investigation carried out by the Regulatory Agency did not reveal a connection between the vaccination and the death of the doctor of ‘MedCapital’ clinic in Tbilisi.
She noted that the regulatory agency is on the spot and continues the investigation:
“The regulatory agency is currently on the ground, but with the initial investigation, no direct connection has been established between vaccination and death. The agency continues investigative activities,” said the health minister.
Today, March 31, Mtavari Arkhi reported that a doctor of ‘MedCapital’ died 2 weeks after receiving a vaccination.
Tamaz Maghlakelidze, head of the pulmonology department at Chapidze Clinic, where the doctor died, does not link the death with vaccination.
The Chapidze Clinic says that the patient had chronic respiratory failure and was admitted to the hospital in a serious condition.
Zaza Japaridze, director of MedCapital, told Rustavi 2 TV that the deceased doctor had been vaccinated against COVID-19 on March 16 and had been working normally for a week. However, the director of the clinic also noted that the doctor suffered a chronic illness, due to which the patient often had to take a break from work.
