Georgia’s Labor Inspection Office conducted 1,176 inspections in the construction sector in 2023. According to the information provided by the agency, the work process was stopped for 218 construction projects, and a warning was given for 295.
“The construction sector is a high-risk area, therefore, the agency constantly inspects the facilities to prevent accidents at the workplace.
“For each violation, an appropriate sanction was issued by the Labor Inspection Service,” the Labor Inspection Office told BusinessFormula.
