A young Georgian, Nikoloz Chartia, who is continuing his studies in the US, majoring in Political Sciences, has become a member of the Youth wing of the (currently governing) Democratic Party, Young Democrats of America.
“My big dream since childhood was to connect my future with this country. And no matter how stereotypical it sounds, America provides the opportunity to fulfill the most ambitious desires and achieve goals. It was here that I became convinced that the ‘American dream’ is not some abstract commandment, but a completely real and genuine phenomenon.
“In addition, this country gave me the opportunity to realize another great desire of mine, which I would describe as my first steps taken in big American politics,” Chartia says.
“After my long and active work, I officially joined the Young Democrats of America, which is the youth wing of USA’s governing, Democratic Party. This will give me an opportunity to spread the values of the Democrats in my student community, participate in party events, and, most importantly, to make my own contribution to the 2024 US presidential elections.”
