Georgian judoka Lasha Shavdatuashvili claims gold at Paris Grand Slam

Georgian judoka Lasha Shavdatuashvili won a gold medal at Paris Grand Slam 2023. The Georgian sportsman beat Brazilian Daniel Cargnin in the final.

Three other Georgian judokas competed on Saturday, including Temur Nozadze (60 kg), Bagrat Niniashvili (66 kg), and female athlete Mariam Tsikhelashvili (57 kg).

The Georgian team won 4 medals at Paris Grand Slam 2022.
