Deputy Health Minister Tamar Gabunia stated that the majority of cases linked to the now-circulated strain of Omicron are mild and do not require hospitalization.
She noted the symptoms that characterize the course of Omicron
runny nose, cough, increased temperature, general weakness, diarrhea, and she added, that treatment of the virus should be continued at home.
Gabunia notes that there is no sharp increase in the number of cases of the virus during the past week.
