The Uplistsikhe Museum Wine Cellar invites you from 14:00 to 16:00 on Sunday October 17, for a celebration of Harvest 2021.
The event includes grape-crushing and amphora filling, accompanied by Georgian traditional folk music. Those who wish can take part in master classes in the preparation of traditional dishes, such as making churchkhela and baking bread in a “tone” oven.
Visitors will be served by a bi-lingual cellar guide who will give you the chance to taste four types of natural local wines (Atenuri, Chinebuli, Tavkveri, Khidistauri) with assorted cheese and fruit.
