Georgia’s Deputy Health Minister Tamar Gabunia stated they had conducted an analysis of infected people from March to August 17, including the number of people vaccinated, and found that no more than 98% of those infected had been vaccinated.
“We have found that most of those sent to the hospital were not vaccinated. In ICU, 3,500 people had previously been treated, including 1% who had been vaccinated once and 0.3% who had been vaccinated twice. Out of 3500 people, there are single figure cases where double vaccinated people had been sent to ICU,” Gabunia said.
