Online Literary Festival to Present ‘First Republic of Georgia, 1918-1921: History. Literature. Art’

Writers’ House of Georgia reported with the support of “Tbilisi – World Book Capital,” on June 24-27, an online literary festival for German-speaking countries “First Republic of Georgia – 1918-1921.History. Literature. Art,” will be held.

Within the framework of the online festival, 20 events will be held for German-speaking readers for 4 days, the participants of which are: Aka Morchiladze, Nino Kharatishvili, Ana Kordzaia-Samadashvili, Tamta Melashvili, Abo Iashagashvili, Salome Benidze, Naira Gelashvili, Merab Ninidze, an actor working in Germany, and Giorgi Kiknadze, a musician living in Hamburg.

Georgian participants will be moderated by journalists from leading German media publications and literary critics include Tilman Spreckelsen (FAZ), Doris Akrap (taz), Cornelia Zetzsche (Beyerischer Rundfunk), and others. The special guest of the program is the famous and acclaimed German actor – Ulrich Noethen.

The event will be broadcast live on Lettrétage online platforms.
